ZD & APsTroubleshooting Steps
Check the following configuration settings on the Zone Director:- ZD GUI > Configuration > Services > Enable Automatically adjust 2.4Ghz channels using Background scanning and also for 5ghz
- ZD GUI > Configuration > WIPS > Enable report rogue devices . If the second option 'Report only malicious rogue devices of type' is enabled, then one of the four sub-options need to be checked. Else there wil be no reporting
- ZD GUI > Configuration > WLAN > select WLAN and click on Edit --> Advanced option >Make sure "Do not perform background scanning for this WLAN service" is unchecked
- If the Service Schedule option is enabled for the specific timings then apart from that specific timing, the AP will not be able to detect Rogue APs or Neighbor APs. Configure > WLANs > Advanced Options > Service Schedule
Note: Service Schedule configuration will be given first priority.
