Hostpot Service Configuration when using Management IP Address

Customers must enable HotSpot ports 9997 and 9998 in a Walled Garden in a multi-VLAN environment.

Question

How to configure Hostpot Service when using Smart Redundancy on Management IP?

Customer Environment

Smart-Redundancy set up enabled with IP Management. Smart-Redundancy Info is as follows Local State Active Peer State Connected - Standby Local Device IP Address 10.3.xx.xx Peer Device IP Address 10.3.xx.xx IP Address Management 10.3.16.x2

Root Cause

The problem is port 9997 on 10.3.16.x2 before user authentication is closed, however the port on 10.3.xx.xx and 10.3.xx.xx have port 9997 open.

Resolution

To make HotSpot services work, please enable the Walled Garden Option and allow ports 9997 & 9998.
