Customer has firewall or content rules in place for Ruckus Cloud Wi-Fi

Troubleshooting Steps

The 16.05 release of Ruckus Cloud Wi-Fi includes the new requirement for any customers using fixed Ruckus Cloud IP addresses in either their firewall or content filter configuration to update their firewall/filtration configuration rules.
 

Resolution

We recommend you to update any firewall and content filter rules in place to allow communication between the APs and the Controllers

For a list of ports that need to be opened traffic from your AP subnets to reach to “any” IP address or at a minimum allow communication to the two IPs shown here or AP firmware upgrades will fail and a WLAN service interruption may occur :
