Why is my contact listed under Unknown Support Customer?

Customer Environment

Ruckus Customers with no registered account in SFDC

Resolution

When a contact / Support Web User is not associated to a registered account, "My Profile" tab shows the user's Company ID to be RUCKUS Account ID and Account Type & Level will shows as 'Guest'

When a Support Web User is not associated to a registered account, the user’s access is restricted as follows:
  • Limited access to KB Articles
  • Not allowed to get software updates
  • Unable to view Assets/Cases
  • Unauthorized to TAC Support. 
To have an account registered, please reach out to our Sales Team. Post the account creation, the contact can be associated to the account by RUCKUS Support team.
