Why I am unable to import Elliptic Curve signature format CA signed certificate on Unleashed?

Customer Environment

Unleashed on any version

Root Cause

EC (Elliptic Curve) signature format CA certificates are not supported on Unleashed products

Symptoms

Certificate will fail upon import with below error.

"The imported private key still does not match your imported certificate. The imported certificate and private key will be discarded. Please import certificate file again.".

Resolution

As of writhing this article (August 2021) Elliptic Curve signature (EC) CA certificates are not supported on Unleashed.

Only RSA certificate is supported, use the same on Unleashed.
