Indonesia SDPPI Certification - COO Requirement for Replacement Units

Indonesia’s SDPPI certification rules confirms that a replacement unit does not need to be manufactured in the same Country of Origin (COO) listed on the original SDPPI certificate.

The SDPPI certificate is tied to the model/type of the equipment, not to a single COO. Therefore, as long as the replacement unit:

• Is the identical model already covered by a valid SDPPI certificate, and
• Is clearly labeled with its own (possibly different) COO,

it can be imported and used for warranty or repair purposes without re-applying for SDPPI certification or matching the original COO.
