Root Cause
This issue is identified as a memory leak in firmware version R7.1.1.520.830, which gradually exhausts system resources and results in configuration failures.Workaround
Perform an AP ACX reset or AP reboot to temporarily restore the AP to an operational state
Resolution
The memory leak issue has been addressed in the latest AP firmware.
Pre-Requisites Before Upgrade
To ensure a smooth upgrade process, complete the following steps:
- Reboot all APs prior to initiating the upgrade
- Trigger the upgrade to the Latest firmware (7.1.1.531.6250) at the Venue level after all APs are back online
- Ensure network stability and sufficient maintenance window availability
