vSZ-D 5.2.2 (LT-GD MR 2) Software Release (ESXi .ova image)

5.2.2.0.1562 (MR2) has an issue which restricts upgrades. This is tracked in ER-11538. A KSP can be applied to fix this issue and can be found here.

This KSP is required to move from 5.2.2.1562 (MR2) to any release including 5.2.2.1563 (MR2 Refresh). The 5.2.2.1.1563 (Mr2 Refresh ) has this fix included.

This virtual SmartZone-Data plane (vSZ-D) system version 5.2.2 (LT-GD MR 2) consists of the following (ESXi .ova image) build:

- Data plane software version: 5.2.2.0.1562
- Platform: VMware ESXI 5.5+

Before upgrading SZ-100 to 5.2.2 (LT-GD MR 2), update to the SmartZone 5.2.2 (LT-GD MR 2) Sigpack 1.540.1 (Application Signature Package).

The Ruckus Virtual SmartZone-Dataplane (vSZ-D) is available on the vSZ platform and offers organizations more flexibility in deploying the SZ dataplane as needed in an NFV architechture-aligned fashion. Deploying vSZ-D offers secured tunneling of user data traffic that encrypts payload traffic, maintains flat network topology, enables mobility across L2 subnets, supports POS data traffic for PCI compliance, and offers differentiated per site policy control and QoS, etc.
