Issue 'show version' to confirm switch is running minimum required to code level (8090d) to onboard to RUCKUS CloudResolution
For an ICX to begin the onboarding process to RUCKUS Cloud, Switch must be running 08.0.90d (UFI) at a minimum (or) the switch should have ‘Cloud-Ready’ mentioned on the label. To confirm your code level, you can use the "show version" command. If you happen to be running code older than 8090d, you will need to manually upgrade your ICX. Here are the recommended upgrade paths coming from older code:
-If you are running 8080 flat to 8090c, upgrade directly to 8095ca via UFI image
-If you are running any 8070 patch or older, we will need to do a multi-step upgrade. The upgrade path will be: 8070x or older > 8080f (non-ufi) > 8095ca UFI
Additional details are documented in our FastIron Management Guide here and our Cloud User Guide here
Note:
Switches must be kept on 09.0.10h release for RUCKUS One. No manual upgrade to a later ICX firmware should be performed unless directed by Ruckus Support. When a new cloud version becomes available, any required change in switch firmware will be handled by RUCKUS One automatically.
