Customer Environment

Symptoms

An existing Wi-Fi Network or WLAN is configured, and the administrator wants to change its network type or authentication method.

Root Cause

Administrators may need to modify the authentication method or network type of an existing WLAN, which is not supported in Ruckus One.

Workaround

Create a new Wi-Fi Network with the desired configuration and:

  • Use the same SSID if needed.

Resolution

  • Ruckus One uses a template-based progressive configuration approach.
  • The Network Type option is available only during the creation of a new Wi-Fi Network.

Available Network Types

Users enter a predefined passphrase to connect.
