SCI2.X showing 90 days trial license even when perpetual license is active

Summary

When migrating from SCI1.X to SCI2.X license, both temp and permanent license retains in the SCI license tab. The temp license will take precedence until it expires and the permanent will automatically takes over.

Question

Why is my SCI showing 90 day trial license and will expires in 90 days even when perpetual license is active?

Customer Environment

SCI 2.2

Root Cause

The default licenses will be active till 90th day. It works along with the permanent license till 90th day. Once the 90th day expire, everything will be taken care by permanent perpetual license.

Resolution

Please ignore the warning message about the default license expiration, as long as you have activated and uploaded the permanent license (.bin) file for SCI2.X and also if you see the licenses as permanent on the SCI UI under license tab.
