Customer Environment
vSZ-Essential, vSZ-HighScale, Nutanix AHVResolution
1. Login to Nutanix Hypervisor --> Navigate to Home --> click on setting TAB
2. Click on Image Configuration --> Uplaod Image
Note: Nutanix AHV does not accept the .qcow2.bin image file downloaded directly from the Ruckus Support site. The .bin file must first be extracted to obtain the actual .qcow2 image file. Once extracted, the .qcow2 file can be uploaded and used in the Nutanix hypervisor.
Example:
Original file downloaded from the Ruckus Support site:
vscg-7.1.1.0.872.qcow2.bin
Extracted image file for Nutanix AHV upload: (Extract the original downloaded image via 7-Zip or WinRAR)

3. After Image upload, Navigate to Home --> click on VM TAB and create VM
a. Allocate CPU, RAM as per the Number of APs/Switch Management, refer to upgrade guide documentation to check the resources needed for the vSZ deployment.click here
b. Choose Legacy BIOS and delete the CD-ROM
c. Click on Add New Disk.
d. Under operation --> select Clone from Image Service --> it will automatically pick the uploaded the vSZ image and click on ADD.
e. Under Network Adapters(NIC) Add New NIC
f. Now click on save for VM creation.
