Transferring Licenses and Support from ZD to ZD- Both ZoneDirectors belong to you. RUCKUS can ask for a picture of the physical ZD and/or print screen from the GUI
- The devices involved should be like to like i.e. From ZD1200 to ZD1200
- You have the necessary credentials and access to both ZoneDirectors.
- You have a record of all the licenses and support contracts associated with the original ZoneDirector.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Verify Compatibility
Ensure that the new ZoneDirector is compatible with the licenses and support contracts from the original ZoneDirector. Both devices should be the same model to facilitate a seamless transfer.
2. Backup Configuration
