In the support info file, do a search for Supplicant Status.When the mesh AP is set for Auto, you will see the following:
Interfaces:
AP: wlan62 at ifindex:11.
Station: wlan63 at ifindex:10.
Supplicant Status:

When the mesh AP is set to Manual with an specific Root to connect to:

AP: wlan62 at ifindex:11.
Station: wlan63 at ifindex:10.

Where mesh_acl_ignore=0 means that it's set to manual and the mac address(es) below are the uplink APs designated for this AP only to connect to.
Mesh manual mode is set at the Configure / AP, select the AP, go to the Advanced Section, select manual and select the uplink selected APs:
