How can I see all guest passes created on a vSCG? Why I only see the recently created guest pass?

Summary

This article explains what needs to be done to see all guest passes ever created on a vSCG.

Question

How can I see all the guest passes created on a vSCG?

Customer Environment

vSCG managed wireless network.

Root Cause

vSCG's Guest Pass page only shows the last created guest pass - nothing else.

Resolution

For vSZ firmware 3.x to 3.4
To create a guest pass first of all a guest network should exist. This can be setup  under Configuration --> AP Zones. Pick your AP zone and then go to the WLAN page. There you can choose "Guest Access" as the authentication type while creating a new SSID.

Now you can create guest passes by going to the Identity --> Guest Pass page. But this page will only show the latest guest pass.

If you want to see all of them, go to the Identity --> Profiles page. Here choose "Type" from the first dropdown and you will see "Guest" as option in the second dropdown box. Choose this and then click on the "Load Data" button to see the existing guest passes.

For vSZ firmware 3.5 and higher
If you are running your controller on firmware 3.5 or higher , please navigate to vSZ GUI >> Clients >> Guests. You can see all the guest passes generated for specific AP zone.
