vSZ-H 3.5.1.0.296- Reports do not have CSV option to choose as Output Format

Summary

While generating report on vSZ-H 3.5.1.0.296 we do not have an option to choose CSV as Output Format.

Question

Why vSZ-H 3.5.1.0.296 - Reports do not have CSV option to choose as Output Format?

Customer Environment

vSZ-H (High Scale) 3.5.1.0.296

Root Cause

As per development team, it is a design intent to only support PDF option for report generation.

Workaround

Starting 3.5, vSZ-H discontinued option to choose CSV as output format for reports. However same option is available with vSZ-E or SZ100 Platforms on 3.5. As an alternative, for Carrier platforms(vSZ-H and SCG200), the CSV feature is moved to the "System >>General Settings >> FTP" page as below:

[Usage]
1. Set up an FTP server
2. Enable uploading statistical data to the FTP server, it will export the CSV to FTP hourly.
3. If disable, no more new CVS will be generated in vSZ.

Resolution

Design intended. Use workaround.
