SmartZone 5.0 to 5.1 Multi-Node Cluster Upgrade .KSP file

Patch file for SmartZone 5.0 to 5.1 Multi-Node Clusters.


Applicable Platforms:  vSZ-E, vSZ-H


Upgrade Warning: Virtual SZ Clusters with more than 2 Nodes need to apply this SZ 5.0 to 5.1 4-Node Cluster upgrade patch.

There is a risk that 3 and 4 node clusters may fail to upgrade from SZ 5.0.0.0.676 to 5.1.0.0.496, causing an unexpected restart on the failed node(s).

Please apply this .KSP file on each node of the vSZ 5.0 Cluster, prior to the SZ 5.1 Upgrade.

Important Note:
1.  This is Service Impacting.  Please install during a maintenance window.  By applying the .KSP, the Tomcat service will restart.
2.  Taking a Cluster Backup is recommended before applying any .KSP file.
3.  This .KSP is required to be installed on ALL Nodes in the same Cluster, One by One.
4.  Make sure you complete one node (by seeing all services Online), then move on to the next.
5.  This .KSP is applicable to Virtual SZ platforms, vSZ-E, vSZ-H.

Do Not Use Chrome Browser for Downloads (changes .ksp file extension to .gz).
