Customer should have received a Support Contract code and/or License Code in an email from support.ruckuswireless.com to initiate the activation process.
Activation of Data Plane Instance License and Data Plane Bandwidth Upgrade License
1) Login to support.ruckuswireless.com.
2) Locate and click on "Activate Purchases". As shown in attachment 1.
3) Enter the License activation code - LIC code and click "Validate" . As shown in attachment 2.
4) Accept the Terms and Conditions and acknowledge. Click "Activate Purchase". As shown attachment 3.
5) License is activated and mapped to your LiMAN pool. As shown is attachment 4.
6) In order to add/map the activated Data Plane licenses to the vSZ controller, please follow the steps from article number: 000006071. Click here : https://support.ruckuswireless.com/articles/000006071
Activation of Support on Data Plane Instance and Support on Bandwidth Upgrade Licenses.
1) Login to support.ruckuswireless.com.
2) Locate and click on "Activate Purchases". As shown in attachment 1.
3) Enter the Support activation code - SUP code and click "Validate" . As shown in attachment 5.
4) Select the Support product you want to activate. (This page will appear if you have purchased support for more than 1 product on same order).
4) Accept the Terms and Conditions and acknowledge. Click "Activate Purchase". As shown attachment 3.
5) Support is activated and mapped to your LiMAN account.
Support on Data Plane Instance and Support on Bandwidth Upgrade Licenses are mapped to Account and mapping to serial number is not needed.
You can also explore our new Auto Activation feature available in the Support Portal. Once enabled, this feature automatically activates newly purchased orders as well as previously purchased orders that have not yet been activated.
