Resolution
Ruckus Partner/VAR/Reseller contacts can view/access their End User Accounts, i.e., Registered Assets, Licenses, Support Contracts(active and yet to be activated), Cloud Subscription, Cases etc by masquerading as the end user. All this can be accomplished at Ruckus Wireless Support portal
Note: You (Partners) can masquerade as the end user, only when the PO/SO processed with Ruckus had your(Partners) account name on it.
To Add Licenses in LiMan on behalf of their End user, VAR should first masquerade as the End User.
Follow the below steps to masquerade as the End User:
Log into Support Portal,
- Click on View Customers
- The VAR contact should be able to view the List of End Users
- Click on the End User Account Name
- Click on Switch To The Account
- Now the VAR/Reseller contact can Masquerade as the end user contact. (You can stop "masquerading" as the End User contact, by clicking on "Return to being yourself")

Once the VAR has Masqueraded/Switched to the End User Account, VAR can activate the Licenses, if not already active.
Follow the below steps to activate the Licenses:
- Click on Activate Purchase.
- Enter the Activation Code >> Validate
- Accept Terms and Conditions and click on "Activate Purchase"
- You will get a confirmation about license activation and these will now be available in End Users LiMan "License Pool",

Once the Licenses are activated, VAR can add the Licenses to the Controller.
Follow the below steps to add the Licenses to the Controller:
- Click on LiMAN
- Click on the Device Serial Number to which you wish to add the Licenses.
- Click on the Add License (shown as + License)
- It will take you to a page, where you see all the Licenses available in your Pool.
- Under Qty to Add field, update the count >> Add Licenses
- Click on Update Device

Once the Licenses are added to the controller in LiMAN, Licenses needs to be synced/updated on the Controller GUI.
Follow the below steps to sync the Licenses on Controller GUI:
- If the Controller has access to Internet > Login to Controller GUI> Click on Administration > Licenses > SYNC NOW.
If the Controller does not have Internet Access, Manual License File will have to be Download and Uploaded on the Controller.
Follow the below steps to Download Licenses from End User's LiMAN:
- Click on LiMAN
- Click on the Device Serial Number to which you wish to download the Licenses.
- Click on the Download License (shown as ? License) the License File will be download with a (.bin) extension.

Once the License File is downloaded, Manually Uploading Licenses on the Virtual Controllers.
Follow the below steps to Upload Licenses on the Controller GUI:
- Login to Controller GUI navigate to Administration > License.
- Click on Upload license (browse the file from Download folder)
- Click on Upload
- Once the License File is successfully uploaded, you will see the updated License Count on the License page
