Steps to Upload Licenses on Virtual Controller GUI:

Note : If the Controller has access to Internet > Login to Controller GUI> Click on Administration > Licenses > SYNC NOW.

Uploading Manual License File :
To upload the Licenses manually on the Controller, we first need to Download Licenses from Ruckus Support Portal.

Download Licenses from Ruckus Support Portal:
Login to Ruckus Support Portal, using link: https://support.ruckuswireless.com

Click on LiMAN

Smart Devices License Manages (LiMAN), all the Virtual Device Serial Numbers registered under your account, will be listed here.
If you are not able to view the Serial Number under Smart Devices License Manages (LiMAN), please check Advanced Portal. User-added image

Click on the Device Serial Number >> click on Download Licenses (shown as ? License), the License File will be download.

Note : License File will be (.bin) extension.

Uploading License File on the Controller GUI:
Note : Platform: vSCG/vSZ,SCG=>3.2

Platfor : vSCG

Login to Controller GUI navigate to Administration > License > Click on Upload license (browse the file from Download folder)

Click on Upload

Once the License File is successfully uploaded, you will see the updated License Count on the License page

Platform: vSPoT

Login to Controller GUI navigate to Settings > License > Upload License.
Note: SN should first be generated in order to add and upload licenses. (Click Generate to obtain a SN for the virtual machine. Have SN of your vSPoT VM device ready during the RTU activation itself)

Click on Upload Smart License
Choose the license file from your client to upload it to the vSPoT VM
Once the License File is successfully uploaded, you will see the updated License Count on the License page
