Customer Environment

Zonedirector upgrade insufficient memory alarms events reboot free

Root Cause

ZD1000/ZD1100 operation uses all available memory, and may need to free up space in order to load new firmware during an upgrade procedure.

Resolution

Free up all available memory before the next upgrade attempt.

1. Remove all Events/Activities from the ZD GUI, Monitor :: All Events/Activities by clicking 'Clear All' button.

2. Remove all alarms ZD GUI, Monitor :: All Alarms by clicking 'Clear All' button.

3.  From ZD GUI, Administer :: Restart click the 'Restart' button.

4.  After reboot, proceed with ZD upgrade from ZD GUI, Administer :: Upgrade.
