- Check your internet connection to make sure that it is working properly.
- Try logging out of the RUCKUS Support Portal and logging back in.

RUCKUS One Subscription Licenses
RUCKUS One licenses are available for access points (APs) and ICX switches. These licenses are available as standard licenses and temporary or trial licenses that support full product functionality.
RUCKUS One standard licenses have an activation grace period of 180 days after which the subscription start date cannot be modified. The 180-day activation grace period provides self-service ability to select the subscription start date within 180 days from the day the purchase order was received by RUCKUS. That is, the user can log in to activate the license on any day within the activation grace period of 180 days and can even select a date in the future, within the activation grace period, as the subscription start date. Correspondingly, the subscription end date is calculated automatically by adding the purchased subscription term duration to the selected subscription start date; thereby ensuring the full term of the subscription to the user.
Activating the RUCKUS One Licenses for RUCKUS End Customers
You must have a RUCKUS Support Portal account (including user name and password). You can use this account to access general RUCKUS Support site content, including software upgrades, knowledge base articles, and technical documents. If you do not have a RUCKUS Support Portal account, you must register before continuing with your license activation.
Every purchased license has its own unique activation code, and must be activated for the license to become valid and available for use by RUCKUS One. You receive the activation code in a separate Support Purchase Acknowledgment (SPA) email message for each license. Depending on the product, you may receive up to three different SPA email messages for all of your licenses.
NOTE
The first three characters of the activation code indicate the license type to which the code is applicable.
You can initiate the activation process by either clicking the Activation Code link in the SPA email message or using the Activate Purchase option on the RUCKUS Support website ( https://support.ruckuswireless.com).

Activating the Essentials License for RUCKUS End Customers
Complete the following steps to activate the Essentials license for a RUCKUS end customer (REC).
1. Open the SPA email message that you received from RUCKUS, and verify the End User Account information. Only a registered user can complete the activation process.
2. Click the Activation Code link in the email message.
You are redirected to the RUCKUS Support website " https://support.ruckuswireless.com". If you are not logged in to the website, the RUCKUS Single Sign-on page is displayed.
3. Log in to the RUCKUS Single Sign-on using your credentials.
NOTE
Ensure you log in as a valid user in the End User Account. Only valid users are authorized to activate the licenses.

After a successful login, the Activating Your Support Contract & License Code page is displayed.

Because you have initiated the activation process by clicking the Activation Code link in the email message, the code is populated by default.
If you have initiated the activation process using the Activate Purchase option on the RUCKUS Support website " Support Portal", you must manually enter the activation code received in the SPA mail.

4. Click Validate.
After the successful validation of the license code, you can review the purchase order and user account details.
5. Accept the terms and conditions, and click Activate Purchase.
The following page is displayed if you are activating the line item in the activation code for the first time. For subsequent license activations, this step is skipped.

6. Click the license entry for RUCKUS One (CLD-ESNT/PROF-APSW-REC1) to activate the license.
NOTE
A single Activation Code can carry multiple assets that are part of the original purchase order and sales order. Therefore, there may be multiple line items within one Activation Code. Each line item must be activated. For example, if you have Cloud Wi-Fi, Cloud Switching, and RUCKUS One purchased under the same purchase order, you will see three entries, and each must be activated separately.

A managing network downtime message is displayed. Click Proceed.

The Entitling Your Asset For Support page is displayed.
7. In the Entitling Your Asset For Support page, select the following options:
o The region where you want to maintain your RUCKUS One data. Currently, the supported regions are Asia, Europe, and North America.
o The subscription start date. You can select any date within a 180-day activation grace period as the subscription start date. The dates beyond the activation grace period are disabled in the calendar.
NOTE
Once the start date is selected, the subscription end date is automatically calculated by adding the purchased subscription duration to the selected start date; thereby ensuring the full term of the subscription to the customer.

8. Click Submit Activation to activate the license. A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

9. Click Continue with Activation to proceed with the selected options.
If the asset is successfully activated, a green banner with the confirmation message "Support added to the serial number" is displayed.

You can click the activated product code to view the activation and subscription details.
